 FEES & PENALTIES OF THE RCDA

CURRENT FEES AND PENALTIES OF THE RCDA

Revised February-2014

Membership Dues – are due January of each year. $10 guarantees your membership in the RCDA  for the current year.

If a sub joins a team, that sub must pay the full $10 membership dues

Penalty – If your dues are not paid by the first half of the season, your stats will be temporarily taken away until paid.

    If they are still not paid by the end of the season, you will be ineligible to participate in City Cup play.

If you still do not pay before the beginning of the next season you may face disciplinary action from the Board of Directors which may include suspension for up to 1 year

Nightly League Fees – Mixed Teams, and Ladies League -$3, Mixed doubles - $2.50

                These are due nightly . You may pre-pay the season in full at the beginning of the season. If you do not play, you 

                do not have to pay for that night.

                Penalty – If your fees are not paid by the first half of the season, your stats will be temporarily withheld until paid.

                 If they are still not paid by the end of the season, you will be ineligible to participate in City Cup play, or receive individual awards. If you still do not pay before the beginning of the next season you may not participate in any RCDA Events until it is paid, and may possibly face suspension for up to one year.

Sponsorship Fees –Mixed League - $100 per team, Ladies League - $30 Per team, $50 for 2 teams, Mixed Doubles - $40 per      

              team, these are due by week 3 of league play.

Penalty - Without prior approval of the Board, any team who has not turned in their team sponsor fee 

           by the midpoint of league play may be removed from league play.

Writing a check – Payments to the RCDA may be made by check, and made payable to the “RCDA

Penalty – Returned checks:

1st offense– reimbursement of the original check plus bank charged fees

        2nd offense – reimbursement of the original check plus bank charged fees and future payment in cash only

        3rd offense – face disciplinary action from the Board of Directors which may or may not  include, possible probation or  

                suspension for up to 1 year

         Failure to pay - face disciplinary action from the Board of Directors which may include

                                             suspension for up to 1 year you may not participate in any future RCDA Events until it is paid.

Stat Sheet – Stats are to be turned in by the following night of league play. They are to be mailed and  

               postmarked no later than the day before they are due.

Penalty – If stat sheets are not turned in on time, your team will lose 5 team points and all skill points on 

               your sheet will be forfeited for each individual. If stat sheet is turned in within 2 weeks of play, individual skill points 

               will be reinstated, but the team points will not be.

Board Members – are required to attend all meetings.

         Penalty – failure to do so may result in that Board member being recalled

Team Captains - Serve as members of the Administrative Board and as such will attend all Captains’ meetings and 

                        other required league meetings or see to it that a representative from the team is present.

Penalty - Failure to attend or provide a representative from the team will result in a loss of five (5) team points

                       for each meeting missed.

Sportsmanship – Good sportsmanship shall be the prevailing attitude during all league competition(s) in which you are 

                      representing the RCDA

                 Penalty - Any infractions considered un-sportsmanlike shall be brought before the Board of Directors and/or

                      Grievance Committee and face disciplinary action, which may or may not include possible probation or

       suspension for up to 1 year.

Cheating – Cheating is unacceptable.

Penalty – proof shall be brought before the Board of Directors, and the perpetrator shall face disciplinary action 

    from the Board of Directors and/or Grievance Committee which may or may not include possible probation  or  

     suspension for up to 1 year.

Time limits – Match pairings will only be called 3 times, players have 15 min to report to the assigned board

                             Penalty - After 15 min. forfeiture will be called.

                  A player is allowed 5 minutes to repair or replace damaged equipment.

                             Penalty - After 5 min that player will forfeit their turn.

                 A player is allowed a total of 3 minutes to complete their turn.

                             Penalty - No darts will be thrown after 3 minutes
